Our main focus is the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of puppies that have been abandoned, neglected or orphaned.
A word from our founder, Jade
Since 2015 we have rehomed over 6000 puppies and dogs, not only the ones we have taken into the adoption centre, but also from networking on social media where we share other dogs in need of homes due to their owners emigrating, divorce, down-sizing, or no longer in a financial position to be able to care for their dogs.
Our Adoption Centre is based in Bothas Hill, KZN on a 2-hectare property, surrounded by lush green trees, misty hills, and a small river.
We are open on weekends for Furkid cuddles and adoptions, or during the week by appointment only.
We love having visitors so please pop in! We can’t wait to see you.

Volunteer
Volunteers who assist, do so out of the kindness of their hearts, driven by passion and their love for animals, they are not compensated by Paw Prints Rescue and Rehoming.
Volunteers help to keep everything running and ensure that our rescues have the best chance at a better life.

Sponsoring a dog in our care helps us look after the dogs according to the high standards they deserve. This will ensure the long-term sustainability of the adoption centre and allow us to help more animals than we otherwise could.

Every cent Counts. Every act of kindness makes a Difference. Your contribution provides shelter, rehabilitation, and care for dogs at the Paw Prints Rescue and Rehoming adoption centre. It helps educate children and communities on how to take care of their dogs. It rescues animals in distress from all over KwaZulu-Natal and gives them a second chance.

We have been blessed with 2 very precious “fur kids” from Paw Prints rescue.
Jade was just amazing from the very beginning!
I didn’t realise how much I needed saving with all the love my special little bundle brang into our home. Missy filled a big hole that my beautiful girl left on her passing over the rainbow bridge. Missy has the biggest and the most amazing little personality! She may not be a Labby but boy she is everything I needed!
After adopting Missy we decided we have plenty of room to love another mutt! When contacting Jade she said she has the perfect dog, he had been waiting for months for a home but “he is just a brown dog”, he didn’t have any special markings or look special in any way, but when we saw this lanky, long legged boy we knew he was the perfect fit for our home!
Rocco has the biggest and funniest personality ever! He may just be “a brown dog” but the laughter and love he brings is indescribable! He loves like no other! He completed our family!
I always say, we may have rescued them, but they have rescued us a million times over!
The love these rescue babies bring to our lives every minute of every day just doesn’t match any love that can be brought!
Our Skye Pie
Skye came into our lives as a little lady and has become a soft, gentle, loyal, protective, obedient family member who we all love. She deserved to be rescued and had repaid us for doing this.
Lassie Girl
Well, where do we begin. From not wanting to come into our home because she was scared of the TV to ruling the roost. Lassie has filled a huge void when I had to give back my brother’s dog who I looked after when he lost his home.
These girls are our absolute pride and joy. We absolutely love them with all our hearts.
Thank You Jade for trusting us to care for these beautiful, majestic dogs.
Our family is now complete.
