IOPSA
The
IOPSA KZN team arrived with their family, co-workers and friends and installed 2 x 5000L
Afritank Limited Tanks in our puppy and teenage area. This is going to be life changing.
(Last year they installed a 5000L tank and pump to help us in our adult cabins)
IOPSA also treated their staff and ours and visitors at the centre to a wonderful Braai which they provided.
The kids got busy bathing pups, and then spent the day giving them kisses and cuddles. We are so grateful to have been blessed by these incredible humans and their kindness and generosity. Without their help, we would never be able to reach our dreams.
It was such a fabulous day, and we are so honoured to have been selected as their charity again on “World Plumbing Day”.

Sensory Garden Project
PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING AN ITEM FOR OUR SENSORY GARDEN PROJECT
One of the many things on the list of things to do at the adoption centre, is to create “Sensory Gardens” for our fur babies.
So this week we started the project in one of our “Teen” areas, and hope soon to add these fun, enrichment gardens to all our puppy and adult areas.
It’s a big, and costly job as we have many areas to cover. So we are reaching out to our supporters to see if anyone can help with donations of any of the plants / items below.

These babies have been with us for so long. Grown up here and they overlooked time and time again.
So sad, as they really are lovely dogs, and deserve a family to love.
They cannot grow up here, it’s just not fair on them. Please come adopt a young adult, you will not regret giving one a home.
They are all gorgeous boys, medium in size.
Adore other dogs, great with people. Haven’t met a cat but they under a year so would be fine with some training.
They all sterilised and microchipped and fully vaccinated. They live their walks and playing in our dog parks.

These young children are always giving back to the community and various organisations, so as a thank you to them, their teachers contacted us, to ask if they could come visit, so the kids can see where their donations go.
Of course we said yes, we would absolutely love to have you all.
It was such a great morning, and the kids had so much fun, and so did our babies.
Tracy and Robert and to the wonderful students and family and friends, thank you for all you do, we really hope you come back soon.
We love hearing laughter run through our shelter, such a happy sound.

Puppies and seniors.
Was lovely hearing the residents and staff giggling and laughing throughout the foyer.
What a magical moment. And of course the puppies loved all the cuddles and kisses.
We going to be visiting them every month, and we can’t wait.
We are reaching out to other retirement villages and homes in the upper highway area, we would love to visit you.
We love making a difference and bringing joy to others.

Meet Brody, another beautiful boy looking for a home. He’s a year old and would b the perfect family dog. He adores all people & other dogs. He’s friendly and so social, and when you get to know him, he just climbs into your heart and stays there. All the staff adore him, he’s just such a good, sweet & happy boy. Brody is is neutered and vacs are up to date and he’s microchipped. He will give you nothing but love and loyalty.

She’s a quiet and gentle very sweet little girl, we have never even heard her bark. Very special little dog. Loves other dogs and adores people.

Sadie is still here, she’s not had one call and she is the sweetest little girl, medium below knee height, she’s about 4 years old and absolutely gorgeous, a little mixed breed, everyone walks past without looking at her twice. She is desperate for love. She adores other dogs and loves people. She is so friendly ❤️ There must be a family that can give Sadie a home.

We just don’t understand why he’s still here. He’s a year old and would be the perfect family dog. He adores all people & other dogs. Pretty Luna is a sweet cross breed and she is desperate for a family. She was adopted as a puppy with her best friend Skyler and returned at the age of 3 due to a split in the family, and both dogs finding themselves homeless and back with us. Luna loves other dogs, she’s grown up with young children and babies and adores people. She’s a pretty happy youngster and she would love to find a new family. She loves to play and run in the garden.

Jessie is a medium-sized, female, young adult (around 5ish years old) with a huge heart. This mixed breed beauty may be a bit timid and shy at first, but underneath that gentle exterior lies a heart full of love waiting to blossom. She lives other dogs and of course people. Playful pretty girl
