Mutt Motel

Going away for a long weekend, a short business trip, a well-deserved holiday, or simply a romantic weekend away? We’ll look after your babies for you.

Individual Wooden cabins, measuring 2x2m, with their own verandah and large secure garden for dogs to run and play in, or simply chill and watch the birds. Our Cabins are nestled under the trees, overlooking rolling misty hills. Bring your dog’s food, toys, and treats and we will supply a warm cosy bed and blankets so that they have the comforts of home.

Daily walks and the freedom of their own space, plus our full-time carers to look after them during their stay.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE AWARE OF THE BELOW INFO

  • Proof of Vaccinations must be emailed to info@pawprints.org.za along with completed form. Booking will not be confirmed until these are received.
  • Please provide the following:
    • Your own food for your dog’s stay at the Mutt Motel along with a measuring cup with quantity clearly marked on cup.
    • Your dog’s favourite toys and treats.
    • Medication packaged and clearly marked for use.
  • We will provide bowls, blankets and bedding for your dog. * See comments at end of form.
  • Once booking is confirmed, Proof of Payment must be emailed to guarantee your booking.
  • We do suggest that your dog receives a “Kennel Cough” vaccination 2 to 3 weeks before staying at the Mutt Motel. * See comments at end of form.
  • Please ensure your dogs are treated for ticks and fleas prior to their stay. We are happy to administer Nexgard on your behalf at a cost.

Please note the following:

Should you send blankets, we cannot guarantee they will be returned clean, as our washing days are weather dependent. Furthermore, due to the large number of blankets we handle, we cannot guarantee the same blanket will be returned to you.

We highly recommend your dog is vaccinated against Kennel Cough at least 2 to 3 weeks before their stay at the Mutt Motel. Your dogs may come into contact with a lot of other dogs during their stay at the Mutt Motel. If another dog there has Kennel Cough, there’s a greater chance that your pet could contract the virus too.
