Meet Petal!
This beautiful senior girl had been living a life of misery, neglect and physical abuse, and one young lady was determined to get her out of her current situation and into a better one.
We had seen the plea’s for help for quite a while but were just not in a position to help, but yesterday we reached out after a potential foster home for her fell through and we couldn’t bare to see her suffer anymore.
Julia Turner rushed off to pick Petal up and brought her straight to us. We immediately gave Petal a bath, a delicious meal and a Nexgard Spectra to help with her terrible mange, and worms. This sweet girl is around 10 years old, has a terrible ear infection, has only a few teeth left, and most of those are worn right down, and sadly had her tail tucked in so tight  as she just didn’t understand what all the fuss was.
Petal slept soundly on a soft warm bed at last, and is now wagging her tail.
She has a sparkle in her eye and a spring in her step. Now the absolute perfect ending would be to find her a retirement home where she can lay and watch the clouds go by while sitting at her humans feet.
Please come meet her and help us find Petal the home she has always deserved but never had.
Paw Prints is open Tuesday to Sunday from 9 to 12.
