Our Quarantine room has arrived! In just a matter of days, the guys from Container Conversions Pty Ltd had installed the first part of our Quarantine and before we knew it, it was done! What was once an empty space is now a small building that could potentially save many lives and assist to save the rescue of much heartache.

There are three rooms inside the Quarantine block; two are isolation rooms to house new litters, and the third room has four cages where we can keep sick or injured dogs and pups while they recover.

This Quarantine block is life-changing for the rescue as we can isolate pups on arrival for around 10 days to ensure they are not carrying any contagious and life-threatening viruses such as Parvo, and don’t spread any awful tummy bugs to other pups such as Giardia or Coccidia.

We are truly blessed to have such an amazing, safe, and hygienic space for our pups and dogs on intake into the shelter, and all thanks to the public for helping us raise the funds and making it possible.
